Sensory-Friendly Halloween 2023

Happy Halloween! We had a blast celebrating a sensory-friendly Halloween at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh this year. With "silent discos," sensory toys to trick-or-treat, activities from vendors, and tons of costumes - this event was a hit! Halloween can be an overwhelming celebration for children and adults with or without sensory sensitivities. Offering your child(ren) some alternative options can be helpful in preventing stressful experiences and allowing your whole family to enjoy the holiday. Take a peek at our downloadable Sensory-Friendly Halloween newsletter below for more info!

This year, we brought prize pumpkin bags filled with sensory toys, as well as made sticker jack-o-lanterns with the visitors who came over to our table. Thanks to the Children's Museum for inviting us! Check them out at - https://pittsburghkids.org/
